We started playtesting WARG this week on RoleGate.com; I'll also be hosting an in-person playtest session. It's a west marches style game, with the PC's base of operations being a small frontier city called Lanternlight. Here is the handout: Map generated using Watabou's amazing generator.
I made a thing a while back. I called it Resonance Cascade. The basic premise is kids on bikes (Stranger Things, Goonies, Stand by Me, Tales from the Loop, etc) playing out near a Black Mesa (from Half-Life) inspired event. Mechanics are a mixture of Powered by the Apocalypse, Blades in the Dark, Burning Wheel, … Continue reading A Strange Little Hack I made
Playtesting for WARG has started on RoleGate.com, a new play-by-post platform for role-playing. If you'd like to check it out, head over to https://www.rolegate.com/warg Why play-by-post? After a long while of designing, testing, writing, re-writing, procrastinating, and starting over, here is WARG, my own personal fantasy heartbreaker. It’s nothing ground-breaking, but I like it. It’s not finished yet, but it’s to the point where I need to start seriously playtesting it before I go and further. Head over to here to … Continue reading WORG Playtest
